Road Riding

The Myrtleford-Stanley Road climb starts 10km NE of Myrtleford and ends 3km from the beautiful township of Stanley. An average gradient of 5% might suggest a steady climb, however the ride is a bit more layered with an easy start, a steep middle section and a rolling finale.

235km, 4,000m+ of climbing, 13 hour deadline. 2,000 cyclists from around the globe will rise to the challenge and take on one of the world’s toughest and most picturesque cycling events in the Victorian Alps. Join in or watch from the sidelines, Sunday 11 March 2018.

August is the month for some sensational road racing around the picturesque King Valley in the Sam Miranda Winery Road Series. Strade Nero and Gran Fondo are races open to keen riders with pro rider races also part of the series. Get your kit on, the wheels spinning and keep an eye out to register.
