MT BEAUTY BIG HILL MTB PARK
Mt Beauty lives up to its name, nestled into the base of Mt Bogong, Victoria's highest mountain at 1986m. The Mt Beauty Big Hill Mountain Bike Park has over 40+ kms of top quality cross-country and downhill trails best suited to intermediate and advanced riders. Hand-cut by locals over many years, Big Hill has hosted multiple National DH Titles and big XC events. Climb or shuttle your way up and then get ready for some serious gravity.
ROAD RIDES
The Falls Creek road climb is the local hero, with just over 30km of climbing ahead of you before you turn around and zip back down for a cooling dip or a bakery refuel. But there are other climbs and longer flat rides in the region too, such as Tawonga Gap, Kiewa Valley Highway and Redbank-Mongans Road.
KID-FRIENDLY
Riding with kids? There are a couple of trails at Big Hill MTB Park that they'll love, and the flat trails and roads around the Pondage, around town and to the East Kiewa River swimming holes are always winners.
