CYCLING HIGHLIGHTS
MURRAY TO MOUNTAINS RAIL TRAIL
With over 100kms of sealed off road trails, The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is the ideal way to discover the diverse landscape of North East Victoria. For those keen to take on the trail from Bright to Wangaratta (or vice-versa), Myrtleford is the perfect spot to rest your legs overnight. Myrtleford is also the the ideal base for hitting the trail in more bite size rides, popping into cellars doors and farm gates along the way.
THE OPEN ROAD
Beautiful scenery, fresh air and exhilarating downhill runs reward those willing to take on the challenge of the tarmac loops around Myrtleford. There are many great rides to suit all levels of fitness, and there's a thriving cafe scene back in town already preparing your berry muffin and long black.
GRAVEL GOODNESS
Myrtleford's location in the Ovens Valley is well suited to gravel, with some rewarding riding just out of town. For a long mixed surface ride try the Myrtleford Monster, take the back road into Bright over Mt Porepunkah, or ride the Lake Buffalo-Whitfield Road over to the King Valley.
