Have you heard about the High Country Women’s Cycling Festival? Do you, or someone you know like the idea of cycling up Mount Buffalo with 150 other women, followed by a Lycra lunch party to celebrate your achievement? You’ll want to register and then head to Bright on 29-31 March for the second ever High Country Women’s Cycling Festival (or HCWCF for short).
The HCWCF promises much more than just cycling – there’s yoga, a bike skills clinic, bike mechanics workshop, Pop Up Lycra Fashion, a celebration dinner and fundraising for Ovarian Cancer Australia. Based at Bright Brewery, the festival aims to inspire, encourage and support more women to ride, and to experience the beauty of the High Country by bike. With a focus on safety, the festival provides for participants seeking a supportive cycling environment. Riders will enjoy the luxury of a closed road as they climb Mount Buffalo, with traffic management and safety protocols on roads in and out of Bright, ensuring a safe and enjoyable ride for all.
Registration closes on Friday 22nd March and places are limited. You don’t want to miss this weekend jam-packed with fun, fitness and friendship!
